HSMG conference this year was held at the Miami Hilton Downtown. The 85 + degree weather was such a welcome relief to all the clouds and rain in New England!
This was the view from my room window, sunshine every day!
Day one started off with pure inspiration with guest speaker
Barbara Corcoran, real estate mogul and she also appears on the show "Shark Tank".

Larry Plesent from Vermont Soap works. Enjoyed hearing the differences in "Organic".
"Whatever we are doing to ourselves, we are doing to the earth"- Larry Plesent
Robert Tisserand, one of the worlds leading experts in aromatherapy and author of "The Art of Aromatherapy" spoke on dispelling essential oil myths.
What fun! Never have I even thought about melt & pour, well, guess what? Marla Bosworth, from Back Porch Soaps, her demonstration combining MP & CP soaps has got me hooked!
And, of course, as much I enjoy the speakers and their topics, the absolute best part is meeting up with old and new friends!
Cannot wait until next year, Portland, Oregon.
